Is that receiver in the photo a Pioneer? I had an SX 1050 and that thing hated to be moved; I had to have it serviced twice, for similar sounding issues and finally after one more house move, I gave up on it and sold it for like, $50...which is a steal even with the needed servicing.

I haven't heard that Disciples of Power, but that reminded me I have "Power Trap" and need to give it a relisten!

It is! It's the Pioneer SX-780. Doing a quick search and seems like other people have the exact same problem as me (https://www.reddit.com/r/vintageaudio/comments/16wnuyu/vintage_pioneer_receiver_trouble/) regarding the right channel.

Like 8 years ago I did a good spray of deoxit on the switches and pots and I think maybe it's time to do that again, give the whole thing an air compression dusting in there and hopefully it's not some kind of transistor replacement situation? I suppose worst case after all that I'll just sell it like you mentioned and buy something else to replace it. Either all that or see if there's someone in town that can do a service on it for me haha.

I'd be interested to hear "Power Trap" for sure based on the other album. Not my favourite in the world but I enjoyed it outside of the few nitpicks I had!
